The prototype TeSLA system combines face recognition, voice recognition, keyboard rhythm, writing-style analysis and anti-plagiarism tools to ensure that online assessment candidates are truly who they say they are.
We are pleased to invite you to a 45 minute webinar, taking place on June 26th at 12:30 pm CEST. In the webinar, you will learn all about how the prototype TeSLA system works in policy for quality assurance of e-assessment and Data Privacy. One of the challenge is to put in place an ethical system that respects privacy and data protection of students without reducing trustability and correctness of the identification and authorship. Following the new requirements of the GDPR, TeSLA adopt a hybrid model of cloud. During this intervention, after a brief description of the main principles for data protection, we will explain how the privacy filters put in place and the sharing of roles and responsibilities between TeSLA and academic institutions reinforce the respect of privacy and data protection for students, and how it might be of benefit for your institution.
